Recycling and waste

Cherwell District Council offers a fortnightly kerbside collection of recycling, garden waste and household waste to all 58,000 residential properties in the district. Our current recycling rate is 48%, making us one of the top performing districts in the country. However, there is still more we can all do to help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill, and we are committed to making recycling easier for you. On these pages you can find information about the recycling and waste collection services, your collection days, the containers available to you, and why we all need to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
